Lighthouse...Explored!

Once upon a time the Aguada Fort at Goa was an architecture depicting strength and power. The lighthouse provided a vantage point for guards vigilant against any intrusion from the Arabian Sea as also to warn passing vessels of the rocky coast.

 

Seen in this picture is that valiant lighthouse, a witness to many battles, with a courtyard of the fort at the foreground.
