On March 6, dozens of concerned residents in Vancouver, Washington joined Animal Equality in voicing their support for a city-wide ban on the sale of foie gras. The event started with an evening workshop at City Hall, where Council members discussed three animal bills. Afterwards, City Council gathered for a public hearing, where supporters joined Animal Equality in “Ban Force Feeding” T-shirts. At this hearing, advocates shared their testimonies and expressed their support of the ban.
