Lorong Haji Taib in KL is notorious for the illegal sex workers, transsexuals and addicts in the area. At every corner, dead-end road and alley, transaction is going on. My friends and I managed to take a few pictures only as we tried not to intrude as well as fear for our safety coz we went there on our own after dinner.

 

There are NGOs such as PT Foundation which regularly provide HIV/AIDS education, prevention, care and support programmes in this area. Poverty cannot be eradicated, and as such, education on prevention of HIV/AIDs is the approach to go.
