GOC London Public Art 155: General Don José de San Martín statue

Statue of General Don José de San Martín (1778-1850), founder of the Argentine independence, he also gave freedom to Chile and Peru. This statue is in Belgrave Square, Belgravia, Westminster, London SW1X. The sculpture is under a street light, so as the sun was fading, this came out with a nice glow!

GOC Hertfordshire's walk on 12 November 2016, a 7.4-mile point-to-point walk to look at various artworks, statues and memorials in parts of the London Borough of Lambeth and City of Westminster in London, including Lambeth, Westminster, Belgravia and Hyde Park. John T led the walk, which was attended by 13 people in total (and a dog).
