LEGO Hallmark Christmas movie
It's time again for my annual tribute to Hallmark Christmas movies, done with LEGO. I bring to you, "Oh, Tannenbaum."
Holly Tannenbaum is an interior decorator from Boston, Massachusetts. But not your ordinary decorator. She specializes in Christmas decorations, and somehow makes a year-round living at it. She is on her way to Chicago for a big department store project when a powerful lake-effect snowstorm shuts down all tracks west of Erie. She makes it to Pineneedle, Pennsylvania, where she finds an adorable Bed and Breakfast run by a charming man, Douglas Phurr. She is amazed at the holiday decor in the house, and learns that Doug is responsible. He asks her what she does for a living, and is immediately attracted to her when she tells him.
Doug's father, Frasier, is the president of the largest bank in Pineneedle, but refuses to ever decorate it for Christmas. He is a bit of a Scrooge, and finds decorations to be a waste of money. Doug has offered to do it for him, but is never allowed. He thinks that with Holly's help they could pull it off. And with his father away at a "Loonie and Toonie" convention in Ontario, Canada, now is the time to act. "While the cat's away, the mice shall play," he says, as he gathers the bank employees for a quick strategy meeting. They buy all of the Christmas decorations still left in the town shops, and go to work.
Holly's expertise in the matter puts a huge smile on Doug's face, as well as the faces of all the bank employees and customers. When it is completed after several days, Doug turns to Holly and says, "Oh, Tannebaum, this is a lovely branch. My father will love it. Let me show you the rest of our little town."
Does Holly fall for Doug and stay in Pineneedle forever? Does Frasier Phurr approve of the decorations in his bank? Why does it take two weeks to clear the snow from the tracks? Is the United States replacing the dollar with the loonie?
Add to the story if you'd like. It's all for fun!
Merry Christmas!!
Lit with a Nanlite PavoTube, Ulanzi LED lights, and fairy lights.
