Old Time Baseball

It is the dog days of summer, and the Stackers baseball team is one of the best in the 1905 season. Team owner and manager Chester Arthur McGillicuddy is a tough, very smart bench boss. He takes time away from his liquoric company to manage the team for the 24th consecutive year.

Here he is pictured with his two stars. At left, pitcher Elihu "Attaboy" Snodgrass has won 31 games by the end of August, with 27 being complete games. On the right, the best hitter in the league, Johnny "Sidewalk" Frampton. Many attribute Johnny's .435 career batting average to his years growing up on the streets of Pittsburgh, hitting balls down the narrow sidewalks and alleyways.

It is standing room only down at Chester Field, so get your tickets now!! Only 20 cents!!

Lit with natural light (outdoors) and a Nanlite PavoTube for fill.
