13th March 2010 saw a unique event, Illuminating Hadrian's Wall. The project established a chain of beacons from one end of the wall to the other - some 500 beacons all together.
We camped out near Steel Rigg, with about 100 other photgraphers and TV crews!
I got severe 'tripod envy' having only a £9.99 very lightweight tripod which needs to be kept out of the wind as it wobbles too much!!! So as i was downhill from the others, sheltering from the wind to stop my camera rattling about i thought i'd get some quick snaps of the silhouettes behind me before the sun went down.
