Macro Mondays - Lit by Candlelight - Dried Chilli (In Explore 19 Dec 2017)
For this week’s Macro Mondays ‘Lit by Candlelight ’ theme, I have chosen to photograph a dried chilli.
Bit of a technical challenge this week, so I went back to first principles. I used three candles for the shot: 2 two tea-lights and a normal candle. I used one tea-light as the ‘main’ light, the second as a ‘fill’ light, and used the normal candle as the ‘background light. All other lights were off in the room, so that the only light was from the 3 candles.
Post processing in Photoshop and Lightroom CC as usual. Still under the weather this week (ear infection), so I’m still not really on top of my game. Anyway, HMM !!
