The rustic arcade

I have a strong interest in vernacular and Colonial era architecture, whether British or Spanish in origin. The covered arcade is a ubiquitous feature of the Iberian influence, and probably had its origins with the Moors or perhaps even the Romans before them. Either way, it makes for a nice cool place to sit a spell, change rolls of film, or just rest in the recreated Bent's Old Fort near La Junta, Colorado.
