Stranger 371 - Jaime

Jaime didn't say "yes" straight away when I asked if I might take her photo. She had not heard of "flickr", the image hosting website, where I share my photos. After mulling it over in her mind for a few moments, she agreed to take part.

 

Jaime is studying personal training at a nearby college. She likes all kinds of exercise and in her spare time she enjoys working out at the gym.

 

Although it was a very mild spring day, there was a biting wind at the top of Glastonbury Tor. Even so, Jaime took her hood down as I found a nice sheltered spot to make the portraits. I said "It's OK you can keep your hood on". Jaime thanked me, agreeing about the coldness of the wind. She put her hood back up.

 

Jaime was visiting the Tor with her niece Her niece had just turned 18 and I wondered if she might like to take part too but Jaime said "no", on her behalf and her niece did not disagree with her. After I had made a few images with Jaime, in St Michael's tower, she said that she aught to return to her niece, who was now outside. I thanked Jaime and we said our goodbyes. I left Jaime and her niece to enjoy their time together at the top of the tor.
