The Dumbbell M27/NGC8873

Known as The Dumbbell, Messier 27. NGC6853, The Diabolo or The Apple Core.

A planetary nebula about 1,200 light years away.

58 30 second exposures (28 minutes) with ISO 1600.

 

Sky-Watcher Explorer-130P with a 2X Barlow lens on a SynScan AZ GOTO Mount .

Sky-watcher 1.25" Light Pollution Filter.

Nikon D3100 with a T2 adaptor.

Yongnuo MC-36R/N3 Wireless Timer Remote.

Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker with darks, flats and bias. About 50-60 of each.

Processed in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.

Quite a few issues with it but I'm not getting too hung up on it with the equipment I'm using. In my opinion the nebula looks OK so I'll not be doing it again until I have a much better setup
