I'm talking to IT on the phone, i.e. leaving messages for people who mostly don't call back.
I've been trying for a couple of months to get Illustrator and Photoshop CS4 installed on my Mac at home. I paid for the software out of my teaching award money ages ago, downloaded the software from Adobe and have been running it in trial mode. All I need is the two 16 digit serial numbers to register it. But our IT department won't have it. They can't give me the numbers and insist on entering them themselves due to binding licensing agreements. It looks like I have to bring my 24 inch iMac all the way in from home, somehow, just so someone can type these two numbers in.
