Bristol high tide. 1st Feb 2014

The railway tracks are almost completely submerged as water from the River Avon reflects the 'A' Bond Warehouse during the high spring tide at Cumberland Road, Bristol. 1st February 2014

An 11.6m high tide was forecast, but this increased to 11.9m due to the high river levels following a very wet January.

The 'A' Bond Warehouse is one of three red brick former bonded tobacco warehouses, which stands next to the New Cut on Spike Island, and was the first one to be built in 1905. The area surrounding the warehouse is called Butterfly Junction.
