Then and Now
The snow scene took 3 visits in 8 days in snowy January before the sun came out, each a 200 mile return journey followed by a plough through very deep snow (on this day a walk in from Bakewell).
The summer scene was from last Sunday afternoon, taken whilst the family sat around eating sandwiches in the deep grass.
It was only when I was looking at the summer shot did I realize how close the match was to the winter shot. Previously I had gone out prepared to take a 2nd photo with a printed copy of the first photo, and it isn't easy to get them exactly the same. This time I didn't try and the alignment of the two images is probably as good as I could get. Even the grass protruding from the snow in the bottom right corner matches the grasses in the top scene!
Both taken on Nikon D7000 with 10-24mm lens.26th January 2013 and 25th August 2013
