Wheal Lane, Taddington
A picture from the 1980's. Taken at the end of March, at the bottom of Deepdale there was no snow! The decade was very bad (good!) for snow, and it often lasted from early November to late May . It was also very considerate as it was often on the tops only, which made access easy. We drove up most Sundays and i can't remember my father, who didn't like driving in the snow, ever refusing to drive us there.
