Clearance

The Isaac Walton Hotel (appearing out of the fog, with Ilam Hall (above and to the right) also starting to emerge.

 

Oddly both buildings date back to the early half of the 19th century; Ilam Hall has been partially demolished over the years whilst the hotel has been unsympathetically extended during the same period. The hotel was up for sale last year for about £2.5 million. During its prime it owned fishing rights for portions of both the Dove and Manifold rivers
