Two Lows

Pea Low, the prominent mound in the foreground, and Moat Low on the horizon. Both ancient early neolithic (c.5000 BC) burial mounds.

 

I spent quite a while here watching the mist ebb and flow, at times totally engulfing me, whilst the diffuse early sunlight cast a strange glow on the snow
