Islands in the sea
Looking down the Manifold Valley from the same place as the last post.Thor's Cave just below the fog level in outcrop on the right, although the twin entrances of Seven Ways Cave are visible.
On the horizon is the expanding quarry at Cauldon Low (Staffordshire's equivalent to the Hope Cement Works) , where a million tonnes of limestone are extracted each year to make cement. If they carry on removing the horizon then the view from this point will be expanded towards the Malvern Hills, although this may take some time!
