Not so Green Gable

I decided to head back to my car at Seathwaite via the Honister Pass. Dropping down to Windy Gap I stood aside to get this pleasing shot of the setting sun turning the fells a rich golden colour.

 

My path can be seen running across the fell side on the left. I just made it to Honister without my head torch, and then enjoyed a star-lit walk down the pass
