Geyser at Geysir

With Þingvellir National Park and Gullfoss waterfall, the geysers at Geysir form the Golden Circle tour.

 

For some unknown reason the spelling of the village is different to what has become the generic term for these geothermal features. The blue pool in the foreground was that colour, caused by mineral deposits
