Steel Canyon

From the natural canyons of Þingvellir National Park to the steel and glass of New York.

 

On our first day we took a walk on the High Line, a converted disused New York Central Railroad line that ran suspended above street level. It runs for 1.45 miles and has been landscaped (beneath the greenery the rails and sleepers are still in place).
