High Crag Summit

With no wind the summit of High Crag was quite pleasant. There was more snow on the ridge than seen from below, and at this early hour it was frozen solid. As large patches were unavoidable, and a slip could mean a slide to the valley floor 2000ft below, I waited for a while for the snow to soften before carrying on
