Familiar Skyline - unfamiliar conditions
I sometimes wonder about my sanity but wandering around Blea Tarn at 3.30am seemed perfectly normal! Having to get home (200+ miles away) for mid afternoon I planned another pre-dawn attempt on Crinkle Crags from the Wrynose Pass, and Blea Tan just happened to be on the way...
Langdale Pikes showing their distinctive skyline above Blea Tarn. This has more stars reflected than the previous shot (the wind dropped completely). 20s exposure at maximum aperture - stars are a bit soft on RHS of image, my lens is not so sharp at anything larger than f8.
