my very first attempt at photo restoration, trying to teach myself how to use photoshop (version "elements 4") - all comments appreciated, but i'd (obviously) prefer ones that are vaguely constructive rather than completely critical of my failings!
all editing was done using the clone brush, meaning it was pretty slow & painful - so if there's a quicker / easier way to do it then i'd be very grateful to hear about it......
after cloning out the worst bits, i used a fairly gentle (15%, i think) sepia photo filer because the top & bottom halves seemed to be fairly badly matched. without wanting to repeat myself too much, this is my first attempt at this sort of thing so everything was based on entirely undecatued guesswork!
