NGTE Pyestock was a jet engine testing facility. The UK's finest ever industrial explore location was once used to simulate the conditions of flight at up to 1,500 miles per hour and an altitude of over 60,000ft. The engines for aircraft such as Concorde, V Bomber, Harrier and Tornado were tested to destruction here.
