Content Creation and Inbound Marketing
Once we had the online marketing program working, we needed to increase conversions. Our B2B sales process was complex and could last over a year. We needed information to help educate buyers at each stage of the buying process.
We were actively developing customer testimonial stories and I wrote a few white papers including "5 Questions to Ask Before Selecting a Telematics Provider". This specific whitepaper targeted prospects early in the sales cycle and was published by various industry magazines.
We conducted bi-monthly webinars and began creating customer and demo videos. To help further jump start the content creation effort, we hired TechValidate to survey our customer base and develop stories and infographics based on the results. I wrote all of the questions for these surveys.
The result was 2,400 marketing ready leads resulting from content interaction in 2014.
