La Plata Peak Northwest Ridge (Winter Attempt #1)

This morning I tried to summit La Plata Peak. I ended up following what appeared to be the most heavily traveled trail, but was ultimately very difficult, precarious, and not the right route for me (way too dangerous, and kind of just not right imo).

So, I didn't summit, but from the spot where I turned around I took these shots. They are not the greatest, but it was low light and on a precarious ridge where a tripod just wasn't happening.
