Long-billed Thrasher

Long-billed Thrasher (Toxostoma longirostre), Southern Texas.This species is a resident of southern Texas and eastern Mexico, where it maintains territories in dense brushy habitats. In Texas, the Long-billed Thrasher is most common in dense brush in the lower Rio Grande River valley, but at least 95% of this habitat has been cleared.
