First or second nymph of a Boxer Mantid (9 mm, possibly Oxypilus sp., Hymenopodidae, Mantodea) found near Dama riverulet at Okpara forest (12km SE of Parakou, Bénin; 8 April 2024).

Studio work with a staged specimen. Focus stack based on 206 images, assembled in Zerene Stacker (Pmax & Dmap). Sony A7Rm5 (in cropped mode, then cropped 1:1) + Laowa CF 65mm f/2.8 CA-Dreamer Macro 2x; ISO-100, f/4, 1/5sec, -1.0step, diffused daylight.
