Acronia II

An unusual longhorn beetle combining hairy-matted and shiny patches (ca 21mm long, Acronia sp. or Mimacronia sp., Cerambycidae, collection specimen, Phillipines, Mindanao).

 

Studio work with a prepared and staged specimen. Focus stack, 159 images, assembled in Zerene Stacker (Dmap & Pmax). Sony A7RIII (APS-C mode) + Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2x ultra macro apo; ISO-50, f/11, 1/160s, 1 diffused flash.
