Longhorn

A couple of Zographus regalis centralis (22mm, Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) from the mountain forests of Kloto in Togo (West-Africa, in dry collection). The larvae feed on cashew.

Studio work; the specimens were rehydrated, cleaned, prepared and posed. Focus stack based on 75 images, assembled in Zerene Stacker (Dmap & Pmax), slightly cropped.

Sony A6500 + Metabones adapter + Canon EF 100mm 1:2.8L IS USM; ISO-100, f/6.3, 1/160s, single diffused flash.
