An impressive male rhinoceros beetle (60mm long, Augosoma centaurus, Scarabaeidae, Dynastinae) from the dense rain forest of Yangambi (DR Congo, November 2013, light attracted, ethanol preserved).

Studio work, staged specimen, focus stack based on 61 images, assembled in Zerene Stacker (Dmap & Pmax), not cropped.
