Life Lesson: Never Pick Up a Mousie Without Looking At It Closely First
I found this this evening at the bottom of the basement stairs. I'm giving credit for the kill to Newton, who's been hanging around the basement the last few days, even though it's been quite pleasant outside. Also, his breath has been vile, which may explain where the front half of the mouse went.
I went downstairs to enter bills, and Newton twined around my legs purring the whole time. I told him he was a fine brave kitty who had proven his worth and gave him lots of pets. (After photographing and disposing of the remains, of course...)
