Andreas Helke says: 70-200 f2.8L 200mm at f 5.6 no converter As usual for equipment comparisons done by amateurs this test is ruined by focus inconsistencies, The bolt and the pole are clearly out or focus in this photo while they are still inside the DOF in the teleconverter photo. So the lens seems to have much better image quality when used with a cheap 1.7x teleconverter.
