In The Beginning, Part II

Minolta X-370 with Minolta MD Rokkor-X 45mm F2 lens. So to continue from my previous photo, after my father's SRT-101 died on me, I hopped into NYC and went to 42nd Street Photo (I think it was), and bought myself a Minolta X-370 body. I proceeded to use that camera with the 45/f2 lens my father had given me along with the now defunct SRT-101. I continued on using this combo for quite a few years if I recall correctly. No piles of cameras and lenses, as I have today - just this one camera and one lens served ALL my photographic needs for a number of years. Those were the days - no decisions to make about which gear to shoot with. Even though I loved the SRT my dad had given me, the X-370 combined with the 45/f2 lens remains my all time favorite camera. If I could keep just ONE camera and lens, this would be it. I should add, that sadly I didn't keep my original X-370 and had to buy this replacement many years later. But as they say, hindsight is 2020, right?
