Couldn't imagine what was going on here when they all piled out of a bar & headed en masse up Strand at the Pier Head... lively, animated, many lighting up cigarettes ..... then I spotted the long-limbed beauty dressed all in white with veil (see comment box below), bringing up the rear !!! Aha, a hen-party ...girls' night out ... Danielle is getting married!
But there was more ... crossing over to Albert Dock I ran into an onslaught of "hen parties" charging around the dock's entertainment area, each group with their own customized theme & props. Outfitting everyone must cost a fortune. Does this go on every Saturday night or was June 9th designated 'hen party' night? Curiosity drove me to google. Big business in the UK, I learned .... many websites selling theme packages for 'hen nights', taking care of every detail. Seems there's a lot of young woman about to be married in Liverpool! Young women with money to burn!
