Roofs on North Side of Himeji Castle 姫路
Looking out of one of the windows in the main tower down onto the lower roofs of Henomon (への門) and Hachi-no-Toyagura (ハの渡櫓). Ikeda Terumasa and later Honda Tadamasa built the castle into its present form from 1601 to 1618.
Restoration work started in 2010 and didn't finish until 2015, so I haven't visited it for a long time.
