Execution of St John Baptist, Heather
Detail of the east window at Heather by Burlison & Grylls, c1884.
St John the Baptist's church at Heather is 14th century in origin but aside from the tower was largely rebuilt during a major restoration in 1846. There is an attractive post-reformation memorial in the chancel and three windows by Burlison & Grylls.
I don't think this church is normally open outside of services.
