Story "The Artist" Chapter 3 The Star That Laughs

To Prologue of the Story "The Artist"
The night wrapped them with its magical veil. Silence descended on the tired earth, and a peaceful calm reigned around. Small lights lit up in the sky, blue and red and white, far and near, and as if in a dream one of them broke away from the horizon and shone so brightly that the light hurt the eyes...It is surprisingly strange, but Light can also hurt, and sometimes it is impossible to look at it...It's tempting, maybe that's why a human chooses darkness instead of Light
- Do you remember once I promised to tell you about a fallen star, I suddenly whispered, still staring at the falling bright trace... Well, it was so long ago but I will try to tell you this fairy tale from childhood in my own words.
"At night you will look at the stars. My star is very far away, I can't show it to you. It'll just be one of the stars for you. And you will love to look at all the stars… They will all become your friends, knowing that mine is among them.
Each human has their own stars. To those who wander, they are guides and they show the way. For others, they are just little lights. For scientists, they are problems to be solved. But for all these people, the stars are silent.
And you will have very special stars.…
You will look at the sky at night, and there will be such a star where I live, where I laugh, and you will hear that all the stars are laughing. You will have stars who can laugh! It's like I gave you a whole bunch of laughing bells instead of stars...
And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be happy that you have known me. You will always be my friend. You will want to laugh with me. And you will sometimes open your window, so, for that pleasure…"
She was watching me silently and a slight smile curved her beautiful lips. She remembered that fairy tale about Little Prince as once she was there herself...an innocent child with wide open eyes willing to explore, create and be an amazing Artist of her Life.
