JETTY

Originally i had planned a trip to the east coast of Scotland, but having checked the tide tables, decided instead to head off west, across to the lake district.

having taken in Ashness bridge at sunrise, there was still a nice glow in the sky so what better than a shot of this little jetty only minutes away from where i had been.yesterday was one of them great mornings where there was just the right amount of cloud in the sky to keep some of the suns colours in evidence for a decent length of time.which is great when you fancy a change of location.

this view from Barrow bay, takes in Derwent water looking across to the light soaked peaks of Skiddaw and Blencathra.
