Precipice

I started off snapping this photo as the texture for an event tip-jar, but even after the event (bombed) I kinda fell in love with the photo.

 

This sums my life right now; right up on the edge of change.

 

Is the sky dark because a storm is gathering or dissipating?

 

Is this sunrise, or sunset?

 

Do the flowers usher in the first blush of spring or signify the slow withering of autumn?

 

Its up to you to decide.....

 

...*I* am the eternal optimist, so what I see is the sun just about to break through the gloom and turn the field behind me into something more beautiful than any camera can ever capture.

 

I also choose to believe that the same thing is about to happen in my life. I'm no spring chicken but I believe that I have a few moments of brilliance still left to me.

 

I'm on the edge of something ; just like virtual-me in the photo.
