Silent Night
OK, so I'm talking about my feelings again :-) Its Christmas Eve and tonight there will be people who have nothing to give, are living in places where they don't have anyone to celebrate with or are spending the night in circumstances that are pretty scary.
I know this, because I've been in all of those situations over the years.
The only cure for any of those things is *us*. We're all going to hit low-points; so when its not your turn to be the one hurting - please remember those who are and treat them as you'd like to be treated.
I hope everyone seeing this has something that lifts them up this holiday season, irregardless of wealth, religion or anything else. This is supposed to be the one time of year when hope and human kindness hold sway; but it only works that way if we make it so.
If you're having a bad time, my prayer is that you'll have someone or something come into your life that WILL make it so.
Be well, have a joyous Yule; but please don't forget the ones who aren't.
