yep, gotta stop for that...

A beautiful Utah sunset. Taken Friday night just South of the junction of I-15 and I-70.

Had Monday through Wednesday home, great time, busy as always, squeezing in time with family, laundry, shopping, and a little rest.

Really busy back to work schedule, averaging over 10 hours driving and 600 miles a day from Thursday to Sunday. Forty three hours driving, Salt Lake City UT to Boise ID, then to Burley ID to Laredo Texas for my delivery this morning.

One of my favorite roads, I-70 from I-15 to Green River Utah, pretty much sucked, as I drove it at night and through a snow storm much of the way.

Last night about 80 miles from Laredo was very unfortunate, hit a small deer. Over a million miles and never hit one, many close calls, but not this time. Took me about a mile afterwards to find a spot to pull over. No damage to truck, the guard bumper worked. No way to check on the deer, but it was pretty obvious on impact that it couldn't have survived. Really bothers me, but nothing to be done about it. Hopefully never have it happen again. I've hit lots of small birds, one Turkey and one Hawk. Always bothers me, but the deer felt worse.

Anyway, getting loaded here in Laredo and heading just north of Fort Worth to deliver tomorrow night. Will post this and do some Flickr visits while waiting for load to be loaded.

Hope everyone is well, taking lots of pictures, creating beautiful images that always make me smile.
