a few favorite things, mountains, clouds, and trees...
I've posted shots of Mount Shasta from this location several times over the years, everytime a totally different look. This was just before dusk, didn't have time to wait for the sun to set, so instead I used a pretty slow shutter, well as slow as I dared without my tripod. Wanted to capture the foreground, not have it be silhouetted. Love the dynamic range of this camera and the great in camera stabilization.
Stopped in Ashland Oregon tonight with less than 300 miles to drive tomorrow. Unfortunately my delivery in Portland isn't until 11 PM. The good news for me is I'll have several hours of free time to spend uninterrupted on Flickr.
Niw here's a Mount Shasta shot I posted in May of 2016 with some pretty sunset colors and clouds. I didn't plan it, but both compositions are almost the same.
