Bear Lodge...
About the title:
In 2005 a proposal by several American Indian tribes was to change the monolith's name to Bear Lodge National Historic Landmark. The name change was not approved. Devils Tower remains the official name.
When I first started truck driving in 2009 I detoured off I-90 in Northeastern Wyoming to see Devils Tower, the same Devils Tower that was used in the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind. My digital camera back then was a little Nikon Coolpix that had maybe a 3 megapixel sensor. Anyway, decided since I had a little extra time on this load I'd do a revisit with much better equipment.
