Eye tester chick in another hair

These eyes when I was editing became a little out of control.. I was trying to define the edge with a line, and instead it burned it black..

 

I thought the black ring looked kind of strong against the almost grey blue celedon colour these eyes origianally were.

 

I went and created a layer and made it silver metalic.. and used the colour and blended it together with the luminacity of the "mistake" iris I made.. and then erased all the background after it was merged down to visible only.. then I added a lighting effect and faded that down.

 

This eye is the result of that. but only I made a copy of the iris and put it on a transparent background. I think it has a pearlecent and silver metalic shiny quality I didn't get with the others.
