Day Fourty Six /365
Hi. Yes, I'm a dork. And I like the soft fadey darkness, thats left there on purpose.
I got tagged (thanks Ralph) so 10 random things? ok? ok.
1. I think I got a little sunburnt yesterday on my adventures with Kate!! Crazy! haha.
2. I bought a ring yesterday at Aldo, its an owl and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!
3. I am reading 'I am legend' coz I needed a book for my bus trip and borrowed one from the shelf where I am staying back in Van... and the lead character is quoted as "blonde hair, blue eyes." It keeps playing with my mind as Will Smith played him in the movie, which I saw the preview of.
4. I went to the cheesecake factory shop and got a slice of strawberry cheesecake and it was so good.
5. It goes dark after 9pm here! I dont know why I find that strange, perhaps the same thing happens in Van but I think as I dont really have a window in the room I'm staying in there I didnt notice. I love watching the city lights come on.
6. I grew up in a smallish town down the coast about an hr and a half from Melbourne but whenever someone asks where I'm from I say Melbourne. You know why? To save explaining where that is, most people know Melbourne.
7. About 5 people (atleast) have thought I was from England by my accent. Yes, I say 'Ta' BUT have you listened to an English person speak? It is SO different to an Australian and my accent. I mean really. New Zealand I could understand, until you get me to say 'fish and chips'. My friend Ed didnt believe me when I told him about the difference (google it) and then we ran into a NZ person the other day and he asked them to say it and they did and I was right. He was so shocked. They say FUSH and CHUPS and I say FISH and CHIPS. Hahaha anyway.
8. I cant believe how many people on flickr are 15 or even younger. When I was that age we didnt even have the internet or a computer OR a digital camera (dont know if they were invented haha). Now THAT makes me feel old.
9. I am going to see The Swell Season in August and I am excited. Anyone who knows who they are and what movie they were in without using google gets bonus points.
10. I want to see a fish getting thrown today!
