Building the San Severo plant

Through its affiliate EnPlus in San Severo, Alpiq is building a gas-fired combined-cycle power station with a capacity of around 408 MW, a thermal capacity of some 700 MW and an efficiency level of 57 percent. Construction will take around 32 months, and the plant is scheduled to go into operation by end 2010.
