Renvyle IV
Ireland / Connemara
Ok, I swear this is the last one ;) ...
Laowa 12mm Zero-D
The climb was tough—scrambling over steep, crumbling rocks with my gear strapped tightly. Each step felt precarious, but I knew the view would be worth it. And it was. I set up my camera on this hidden stretch of Renvyle’s coastline, where the rough, rounded boulders gave way to a sweeping view of the sea.
With the ND filter in place, I captured the water, transformed into a mist-like veil, stretching out toward the horizon. The setting sun's light danced on the surface, casting soft, golden reflections off the rounded stones in the foreground, turning them into mirrors. Out in the distance, jagged rocks pierced the sea, leading my eye toward the horizon where the sun was sinking slowly behind a line of dark, dramatic clouds. Some were lit up in fiery hues, while others remained shrouded in shadow, creating a striking contrast of light and darkness over the water.
In that moment, the world felt suspended—silent, timeless, caught between day and night. The effort to get there faded into insignificance as the beauty of the scene unfolded.
