Ein schönes Angebot, das ich bei meinen vielen USA-Reisen immer gerne wahrgenommen haben, das ist der "Ranger-Talk", der in vielen Nationalparks angeboten wird. Meist gegen Abend an einem Lagerfeuer oder an einem schönen Aussichtspunkt referiert ein Nationalpark-Ranger über ein bestimmtes Thema, Flora, Fauna, Kultur der Ureinwohner, Geologie oder aktuelle Umweltprobleme. Spannende Themen in entspannter Atmosphäre.

A nice offer that I have always enjoyed on my many trips to the USA is the "Ranger Talk", which is offered in many national parks. Usually in the evening around a campfire or at a beautiful vantage point, a national park ranger gives a talk on a specific topic, flora, fauna, indigenous culture, geology or current environmental problems. Exciting topics in a relaxed atmosphere.
